Troubleshoot: “Water Lack” Indicator Light & Pump Is Not Operating
Pump is not operating and there is “water lack” indicator light
Water was closed when pump was turned ON. After approx. 10-50sec pump will turn OFF and “water lack” indicator light will turn ON. Pump will go into protect mode and will not turn ON until water is restored and pump is reset. Whenever The Patio Misting System is run dry, dry friction inside pump cylinders create micron level debris that can get into nozzles and cause them to drip. To prevent this, pump needs to be flushed before it is used again. This procedure will also ensure that there is no trapped air left inside caused by dry run:
Make sure to follow these directions in order exactly as described.
- Unplug pump from power and continue the steps below.
- Turn off water source/Hose
- Unplug high pressure water Out line from the pump by disconnecting the quick connect high pressure supply line from the pump (high pressure black tubing line) by simply pulling toward yourself. If you need a better grip to disconnect the quick connect, remove front cover.
- Plug the pump back to power(Once it’s been at least 30 seconds) and turn on water/hose.
- Turn the pump ON in non-stop misting mode and let it run for 1 min without black tube connection in place.
- Turn pump OFF and close water.
- Re-connect high pressure supply line and turn on water.
- Pump is ready for use again
